Basics of what's up
Pretty much all of us make a single character and we are at the point of the Chunin exams. This isn't going to follow the original stroyline from the movie. We'll start out in the leaf village and start a chunin exam with our own twist on it. There are no teams, but you can make teams with others in the rp.

Ninja Rank: There are many ranks in naruto... We will start at genin and head up from there... http://www.narutohq.com/shinobi-ranks.php

Specialty: It's mainly talking about your main jutsu... There are three types:
Ninjutsu = Any technique and allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing, including the usage of weapons.
Taijutsu = Punching stuff in the face to attack...
Genjutsu = They manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain and it causes a disruption to their senses. Illusions pretty much...

Elements: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Lightning... Pick one and you can use attacks based around that element

Your ninjutsu: What is your main attack with ninjutsu... Ex: Lightning comes down from the sky and zaps people...

Clan: This is only if your character is part of a vast family with it's own private community.
